Air Fryer Chicken Tandoori

Ingredients

  • 1/2 cup (125 g) plain Greek-style yogurt

  • 1 1/2 lbs. (675 g) chicken breast fillet

  • 1/3 cup (85 g) tandoori paste

  • 1 teaspoon (2 g) cumin, ground

  • 1/4 teaspoon (1.5 g) Kosher salt

  • 1/4 teaspoon (0.5 g) freshly ground black pepper

  • 1 medium (110 g) white onion, cut into rings, to serve

Method

  • 1. Mix together the yogurt, tandoori paste, and cumin in a non-reactive mixing bowl, season with salt and pepper. Mix thoroughly.
  • 2. Then, add the chicken and turn to coat all sides. Cover and refrigerate for at least an hour to absorb all the flavors.
  • 3. Preheat your Air Fryer to 400 F (200 C).
  • 4. Place chicken in a baking dish that can fit into your Air Fryer basket.
  • 5. Cook for 20 minutes, baste with pan juices occasionally.
  • 6. Transfer chicken tandoori in a serving platter with some lettuce leaves and top with onion rings.
  • 7. Serve with warm naan bread.
  • 8. Enjoy.
